Hidden Meadows, an Escondido neighborhood in San Diego, California, is one of the most recent additions to Greater San Diego.  The Meadow Lake Corporation, under the leadership of W.R. Waltrip, originally developed Hidden Meadows as a strictly residential area in the 1960s.

He carefully planned the area to preserve its natural environment and open spaces. The company also incorporated considerable greenery into the design.

Throughout the years, Hidden Meadows has experienced steady growth and expansion. Various commercial businesses have developed over the years to support area residents and transform it into more than a bedroom community.

Despite recent growth, Hidden Meadows is still a tight-knit community. Residents actively participate in community events and initiatives. Civic leaders make significant efforts to foster a strong sense of belonging and togetherness.

In recent years, Hidden Meadows has continued to evolve and adapt to meet the changing needs of its residents. The community has witnessed the development of new amenities and infrastructure, such as parks, recreational facilities, and walking trails.
